Late Bhogamaya Memorial Award: For the first prize in award paper category. The Prize consists of a certificate and a prize money of Rupees Five Thousand. This sum is donated by Dr. K. N. Barua, Ex Principal and Head of the Department of Dermatology, Gauhati Medical College and Hospital in memory of his mother.
Late Ganesh Das Memorial Award: For the second prize in award paper category. The Prize consists of a certificate and a prize money of Rupees Three Thousand. The sum is donated by Dr. Jogesh Das, Ex Head of the Department of Dermatology. Gauhati Medical College and Hospital in memory of his father.
Late Arati Das Memorial Award: For the third prize in award paper category. The Prize consists of a certificate and a prize money of Rupees Two thousand. The sum is donated by Dr. KK Das, Ex Professor, Department of Dermatology, Gauhati Medical College and Hospital in memory of his wife.
Late Sibaram Talukdar Memorial Award: For the best e-poster and consists of a certificate and a prize money of Rupees Two Thousand. The sum is donated by Dr. Krishna Talukdar, Professor, Department of Dermatology, Tezpur Medical College and Hospital in memory of his father.
Dr. Ashis Dey Memorial Award: It is given for the best free paper presented during Cuticon. It was started in 2018 and consists of a certificate and a memorial plaque. Dr. Ashis Dey (1972-2017) was a dynamic dermatologist from NE states who passed his post graduation from the Department of Dermatology in 2006. He got the PG thesis grant for his paper on Bone changes in leprosy with Bone marrow Density correlation. He served as senior medical officer in antiretroviral treatment centre in Silchar Medical College and then became Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology, SMCH for his untimely demise in 2017. This award was initiated to encourage young dermatologists of North east in the field of research.
